Job Description:         Last Minute Cuts School of Barbering & Cosmetology is an exciting, fast-paced company focused on the high growth sector of private, postsecondary education. The company owns and operates a nationally accredited school located at 2195 S. Third Street, Memphis, TN. We are seeking a high-energy, experienced professional for our schools.  As part of the teaching team, the Instructor will take on a variety of responsibilities including primary responsibility for teaching and assisting students develop both the skills and a passion for their career. This position includes the following general responsibilities.  

1. Posses a current License for teaching in Cosmetology or Barbering.
2. Provide quality instruction/developmental approach that will qualify students to
3. pass the State Board Examination and be employable.
4. Creative presentation skills for theory class sessions.
5. Provide or present special classes and demonstrations.
6. Administer, grade and post all tests on the back of the attendance record card.
7. Perform 400, 750, and 1400 hour evaluations on students or as necessary.
8. Should be detail oriented to review the processing of student time cards.           
9. Awareness & Participation – to ensure sanitation and safety regulations are adhered to.
10. Assist in providing control of school supplies and equipment.
11. Ensure orderly conduct and a positive learning environment by insuring that each student follows the Rules and Regulations and Policies as set by the school.
12. Have the ability to communicate, cooperate, and maintain positive working professional relationships with both school staff and student body.
